The problem
Diaspora users juggle four or more apps for FX, travel cards, UK banking and local spending. Every switch costs them fees and time.
Wraba is for UK-based Nigerians, Ghanaians, Kenyans and South Africans who travel and send money home.
What I'm designing
One design language across iOS and Android, with platform-native behaviour.
- Onboarding and KYC to a usable virtual card in under 5 minutes
- Multi-currency Home: GBP, NGN, GHS, KES
- A single-screen send flow that picks the best source wallet automatically
- FX conversion that shows the live rate against mid-market
- Virtual and physical card management, including freeze, lost or stolen, and reissue
- Trip Mode: the app detects you're home and spends local currency first
- A design system with accessibility (WCAG 2.1 AA) and localisation built in
